I spotted this little tribal tapestry skirt on my trip to Chicago a few weeks ago and immediately scooped it up. I paired it with my go to chambray shirt, for drinks and sushi at Bistro 31 with my girl Mary. Sometimes you just need a girls night out!

For some reason we had a heat wave here in Columbia. It was 70 degrees, sunny, and I wasn't about to question it. I finally got a chance to test out my new J.Crew shorts and they did not disappoint. If only this great weather would stick around so I could wear a few more of my new spring wardrobe purchases...le sigh.
