This New Years Eve was a very special one for me. Some of my closest friends and I traveled down to Galveston to celebrate my best friend//roommate Adrienne's engagement. Her boyfriend Kirkland planned such an amazing proposal and I was so excited to get to be apart of the surprise. After weeks of keeping the secret under wraps, I was beyond thrilled to finally be able celebrate & ring in the new year with the future Mr. & Mrs. Taylor. Congrats again you two, I couldn't be happier for you both!
Although our time in Galveston was brief, the BF and I managed to hit a few food stops worth mentioning. The Mosquito Cafe was absolutely amazing - definitely make sure to check out their savory scones & corned beef hash tacos. Also Patty Cakes Bakery boasts some of the best cake balls I've ever had!

Sometimes during the winter, can get a bit monotonous which is why I love a great statement coat. I picked up this red coat from FCUK a couple weeks ago on my trip to NYC (ps check out their MAJOR sale here). I've also been living in my new black jeans from FRAME Denim. I decided to go with the cropped version, as my legs are on the shorter side, and they are absolutely the perfect length. Hope everyone had a great New Year last week :)
