For most people the beginning of autumn means a cold nip in the air, gorgeous turning leaves, and getting bundled up in cozy clothes from the new Tuckernuck Fall catalogue. Unfortunately for me, Texas arrives pretty late to the cold weather party and I have to make do with modifying my favorite fall trends for warmer weather. Black and white is one of my favorite combos right now, so pairing this Annie Griffin blouse and skirt together was a no brainer. If I lived in a cooler climate, I would definitely have thrown on this leather collar blazer and these riding boots to help keep me warm.

I love a little leather detailing for fall, and right now Club Monaco has a great assortment. This dress caught my eye online a few weeks ago, and when I tried it on in the store I fell in love. The fit & flare silhouette is super flattering; and the black & navy color combo makes it feel very now. I also love this leather sleeved Varsity Jacket and the quilted leather insert on this Sweater Dress. How are y'all styling leather this fall?

In my opinion, Buffalo Check one of the easiest trends to wear this fall. I picked up this sweater this past weekend at Urban Outfitters, and paired it with my latest J.Crew sale purchase. I also love this Band of outsiders pullover and this Nordstrom button down. What do y'all think about this trend?

I've been compiling my Fall Wish List for quite some time now, and at the top of the list was an over the knee boot. Little did I know it was going to take some serious research to find exactly the right pair. After all, it's a fine line between sassy and street walker. I think that this pair from Sam Edelman is the perfect balance. I've found that they mesh pretty seamlessly into my closet, but by far the best part about them is that they will work perfect with my Pretty Woman costume for Halloween.

Last month, when I was in New York for fashion week, I had the pleasure of getting to pop by the Torn by Ronny Kobo showroom. I have been a longtime fan of the brand, and getting to see all of the fall styles before they hit the stores was such a blast. I was immediately drawn to the fit and flare silhouette of this dress, and knew it would be a perfect addition to my wardrobe.
