So in case you missed last weeks post, I am introducing a new blog series called '1 x 4' where over the course of 4 weeks I will style 1 piece 4 different ways. It is week two and I am still so in love with this skirt! Today I styled it with my favorite Blaque Label cami & Clare V. cross-body for a weekend brunch with some girlfriends. Don't forget to come back next Monday to see the third look.
PS. My favorite nude mules have been out of stock for a while now, but I finally found an almost identical pair for only $54 - check them out here.
I don't know if y'all have popped by Forever 21 lately, but their accessories are seriously on point right now. Not only did I find this Chloe drew lookalike cross-body (last seen here), but I also picked up this Stella McCartneyinspiredwallet, and this gorgeous Chanel Boy Bagdoppelgänger purse. I'm also seriously feeling their new Contemporary Collection, which is a little more sophisticated & geared towards post grad life (posting more on that soon). Another recent favorite purchase is this BCBG top, I love the cutout detailing on the front and definitely will be wearing it on repeat.
I have been a longtime fan of Sam Edelman'sshoe collection (aka these boots), but my new obsession is their ready-to-wear apparel! Take this little black dress for example, the fit is amazing and the detailing sets it apart from being just another LBD. Next on my list is this sick culotte black jumpsuit - perfect for fashion week right?
This past weekend I went on a little Dallas adventure with my mom & best friend Kathryn. I knew we would be gone out all day so I went with this flowy little white dress(which I think is also perfect for Labor Day & totes plan on re-wearing), so I could stay cute but comfortable. We started off with a caffein hit up Mudsmith then made our way to Lakewood for some antiquing at Curiosities. For lunch, I finally got to try out Pints & Quarts, which lived up to the hype! Make sure to try out one of their signature cocktails and the fried pickles with extra ranch. From there we headed over to Pirch for some home design inspo (my mom is remodeling), and wound up stumbling upon the best limeade we've ever tasted (sharing the recipe soon). I definitely want to sign up for one of their cooking classes ASAP! After experiencing so many cool new spots in just one day, I decided I want start posting regularly about my new Dallas Discoveries via my CityGuide series, so stayed tuned for more on that (and make sure to check out my #SSxDallas feed on instagram in the mean time).
This trip to Miami was definitely one of my favorites to date. From the Vogue Brasil lunch at theEdition to the Mara Hoffman show at the Versace Mansion to hanging poolside at the Ritz with Kristin for my birthday, I am having a hard time picking a favorite moment!
