CROP IT WHILE ITS HOT

BB DAKOTA eyelet crop top (last seen here) | RODARTE X TARGET braided denim shorts | COACH penny cross body | SAM EDELMAN gladiator sandals | JENNIFER ZEUNER bar necklace & star lariat necklace | KAREN WALKER number one sunglasses | VITA FEDE titan & omega bracelets | KENZO tiger ring | c/o NORDSTROM BEAUTY SPOT rose petal lip gloss
With temperatures starting to drop, the time for wearing my beloved crop tops is dwindling. As excited as I am about all of the new fall styles, I'm definitely sad to say goodbye to summer. One thing I know will transition seamlessly into fall is my collection of Vita Fede bracelets. Simple timeless jewelry is always a great investment.

NYFW Day Five
Wednesday, September 18, 2013
As you may or may not have noticed...I'm a big fan of a crop top. Paired with a highwaisted skirt (or jeans), I think that it can be a great way to show a little bit of skin without getting too scandalous. Asos always has some great options, as does the Nordstrom Savvy department.
I wore this outfit on the way to the Reem Acra and Kaufman Franco shows at Lincoln Center. Both shows had some amazing moments and I am still on a high from getting to see such beautiful designs.

J.CREW linen shirt | ASOS skirt (last seen here) | SAM EDELMAN yara lucite embellished sandals | PRADA lux saffiano tote via FASHIONPHILE | KAREN WALKER number one sunglasses | KENZO tiger ring | J.CREW crystal flower necklace | STILA beso lipgloss c/o BIRCH BOX
I snapped these pictures on the way into Lincoln Center (with the help of Kristin), before the amazing Mathieu Mirano presentation. By day 4 of fashion week, I was pretty worn out and I chose this look to keep it simple. I went with a teased bun, a red lip, added my favorite Sam Edelman heels, and called it a day.

This is probably my favorite outfit that I wore during my trip to New York. I think it is interesting to note that no article of clothing cost more than $100. Even this skirt from Nordstrom Savvy cost a mere $30, proof positive that you don't have to break the bank even during NYFW.

NYFW Day One
Thursday, September 12, 2013
LEITH metallic crop top**ON SALE! | LIPSY black maxi skirt | JEFFREY CAMPBELL everly bootie | JENNIFER ZEUNER star lariat & bar necklace | PHILLIP LIM pashli satchel | VITA FEDE bracelets | RAY BAN gold aviators | YSL glossy stain in rouge gouache
Lately my mind has been on change, both in my life and in my style. Coming into this Fall season I have been gravitating towards looks with a bit more edge. Key pieces like these Jeffrey Campbell booties and this Asos maxi skirt will be in heavy rotation for me going forward.
I wore this look to a blogger brunch at HK Hell's Kitchen and to the Katya Leonovich and Monique Lhuillier shows. I had a complete fan girl moment when I was stopped by Jennifer Zeuner and team when they noticed that I was wearing two of her designs. I have been a longtime admirer of her designs, so meeting her was definitely one of the highlights of my trip.
